Challenge
The Los Angeles Music Center was looking to create programming for a younger, late night audience. The asked Alejandro Cohen, and DUBLAB to come to the challenge.
Solution
Ale and his collective known as DUBLAB created Sleepless, a series of immersive late night art happenings which take place in various spaces in Downtown LA’s Music Center theaters and concert halls. It is a fully interactive event that focuses on performance art, multimedia, urban culture, DJs, and contemporary fine art to spaces usually reserved for classical concerts and the LA Philharmonic. Since 2015, Ale Cohen has helped make these events that have celebrated music, street art, VR experiences and have become a shining light in LA’s nightlife.
